update notes for the site:
November '10
2.11.10 (later) - Several more new jewellery pages
added, and some updates moved to the archive. Also updated the links
page again with a new street location.
2.11.10 - New
jewellery page.
October '10
12.10.10 - Updated the links page, as sadly Toko Gallery
& Crafts has recently closed. Also because I haven't updated in
ages... sorry. New jewellery pages are on their way, probably turning
up next week as I'm currently preparing for a fair this weekend.
June '10
15.6.10 - Added to the leather gallery - some extra
pictures on the lined pouch
and notebook pages, as
well as several new things.
10.6.10 - Minor update to the links page now I'm back
from the latest Maelstrom event.
May '10
29.5.10 - Added the 'shoulder bag' to the leather
gallery. Site-wide tweak to the nav bar. Added a new 'commission pieces'
section to the leather gallery, so I could add a page for my first
big bit of leather work - combination back pack and quiver for larp.
21.5.10 - Added a contact page, plus navigation bar
links to said page from everywhere else. Finally added a couple of
new leather gallery pages (more coming in the next week, hopefully).
Archived the December '09 updates.
April '10
21.4.10 - Six new pages in the jewellery gallery today,
as well as three variation pictures added to older jewellery pages.
The Links page has also been updated, and my inner grammar pedant
made a small attack on the Me page.
January '10
23.2.10 (a short while later) - Update Archive now
exists. Notes will be moved from here to there whenever I think enough
time has passed to justify it, or if this list is looking particularly
long. So probably every few months or so. That was fairly painless.
23.2.10 - Five new pages in the jewellery gallery,
including a new design idea I've been playing with ('netted'
stones). Think I may need to make some sort of archive page for
these updates soon. Maybe I should go do that...
December '09
9.12.09 PM - Made some of those adjustments, and also
got the leather gallery started. May be a while before more gets added
to it since I'm focusing on jewellery at the moment, but at least
now there is something to look at.
9.12.09 AM - Well I actually managed to upload site
2.0 at silly o'clock this morning. Of course, having done so, I then
felt the need to tweak things here and there. Trying to stabilise
the fonts across browsers, and sort out the colours in a few places.
8.12.09 - Started building EoninArts 2.0. Doubt I'll
have it finished today, but it's a start. Only getting around to this
now because life ran up and hit me over the head in October, and it
took most of November to get myself sorted out again. I do now have
a blog to waffle about how scary setting oneself up as self employed
can be, so that might at least keep these bits shorter.
September '09
23.09.09 - Made a few changes to the jewellery gallery
navigation, combined the waffle page and the actual image index into
one page.
14.09.09 - I've been away throughout August, but since
I got back its been all go (apart from tea breaks, and biscuit breaks...and
breaks for the sake of breaks...). While I was away I managed to make
arrangements for a couple of new outlets for my work, so since getting
back I've been focused on preparing stock. My first batch of jewellery
has now been posted off to its new home with Silver Lion Jewellers
Ltd in Exeter (Gandy Street), and happily I remembered to take pictures
before heading for the post office! Admittedly, my photography skills
aren't brilliant, and I need to experiment with backgrounds, but we
now have a start on the jewellery gallery, so hurrah! I've even managed
to make the web pages and get it online, so hurrah again! (...no,
'4 months away' was not what I was anticipating when I said 'the near
future' back in June, and I do apologise for the delay.) I do also
have some more leather photos, but again I really need to practice
with lighting and backgrounds so that gallery is still on hold for
the moment.
May '09
18.05.09 - Set up a mini-gallery for the leatherwork
page. Made an 'Upcoming Events' list at the side of the leatherwork
page. Tweaked a few general bits of waffle. Have started work on larger
galleries, and will see about doing a blog archive type page. Made
a 'sales info' section on home page - also added a sales info page
with initial pricing guidelines, plus links to said page.
April '09
29.04.09 - Set up a temporary mini-gallery for the
papercrafts page. Made a few small changes in the waffle. Have a feeling
it may take me a while to get all the galleries up and running - need
to finish the photography, clean up said photography, and decide what
style of gallery would be best to display the quantity of images I
end up with. Then make the gallery. For each craft. Blegh. Have to
find the time somewhere...
Going to publish the site anyway now though, because
I think it would be best to at least have it up and running - will
most likely encourage me to finish the galleries sooner too.
